Banana "Oatmeal"


The scent of warm milk and ripe bananas will fill your kitchen when you make this for breakfast. Lately, I have been especially discontent with eating the "usual" for breakfast- eggs, apples, etc. I looked at my counter and saw some overly ripe bananas and got inspired. Okay, so this really has no similar texture to oatmeal, but the smell and feel of eating something warm and slightly soupy in the morning gives off the same nostalgic feeling as oatmeal. I suppose you can add anything you like to it like almond butter or sliced strawberries to have a differing version.


1 ripe banana, smashed
1/4 cup coconut milk

Microwave for 1 minute.

Add pinches of cinnamon, cloves, salt, and 1/4 cup almond flour. Mix well.

It's semi-instant ha.
