Primal Pit Paste Giveaway!

Let me be the first to say that I've never been a huge fan of "natural" beauty products because in my past experiences these products turn out to be hugely over-priced wastes of resources (time and money). So while I enjoy being a tree-hugger and free-spirit, I definitely have my real world limitations. And, let's face it, living the caveman inspired lifestyle often leads to sticky, sweaty situations- weather in our cave dwellings, boxes, or beds. While it is fun to be as primitive as possible, I'll just tell you that none of your friends want to be around someone who smells bad. Period. If you're human then you need to wear deodorant. In my opinion.

Thus, we come to Primal Pit Paste. I had heard of this brand before, but as stated above, was hesitant to try it because of past disappointments. But when I heard from their team, I agreed to give it a try. It's made from only a handful of basic, natural, and organic ingredients and free of parabens (harmful chemicals) and aluminum (an element you don't want in your body). If this stuff really works, I thought to myself, I will be amazed.

I am amazed.

The first morning when I woke up at my usual 5am and put it on before heading to Crossfit class I had no idea what to expect. I'll just stick to a corner of the gym by myself, just to be sure no one smells anything if this Primal Pit Paste decides to fail. But fail it did not. I was surprised to have made it through my entire workout, dripping sweat and all, with no foul smells. I was instantly sold. I haven't touched my traditional deodorant stick since. Why should I coat my skin in chemicals and ingredients that I would normally never want my body to encounter when there is this natural and safe alternative that really works? I refuse to do so anymore. You could literally eat this Pit Paste (although not recommended).

Primal Pit Paste comes in a bunch of different scents. Lavender is the most popular, I think my favorite is the thyme and lemongrass. There are scents for kids too. It also comes in two forms- a jar or a stick. I prefer the stick just because I feel that it's faster to apply, but everyone is different. Not much is needed, either, literally a "dab will do ya." It does have the potential to melt, but I keep it in my bathroom and have never had a problem. To be honest, I am extremely excited to partner up with this company. I believe in their product and I will continue to use it myself. I hope you all who are interested give it a try and love it as much as I do.

Be sure to enter the giveaway below- running through October 2nd! And if you don't win, or don't want to wait- use the code "SALTEDPALEO" at checkout on the Primal Pit Paste site to save 15%! How awesome is that?
