Paleo Asian Meatballs (scd, paleo)

I already have a Meatnuts recipe so why not throw in a Meatballs? (Funny how some people were grossed out by the former name and not the latter.) I love Asian cuisine, so it's no surprise that I'm always trying to formulate Paleo Asian meals. And so we arrive here. These meatballs are not spicy at all but are full of rich flavor. I hope you love them as much as I.

Ingredients:

Meatballs:
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1/2 cup thinly sliced and chopped onions
2 tsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp coconut flour
1/2 tsp ginger
3 tsp garlic, minced
2 eggs

Sauce:
Paleo Hoisin:
(4 Tbsp water
1/2 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp almond or peanut butter
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 minced garlic clove
2 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp hot sauce
sprinkle of ground pepper)

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp water
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp ginger

Directions:

In a large bowl mix together ground meats, onions, oil, flour, ginger, garlic, and eggs. Use your hands to make sure everything is blended well.
Form into one inch in diameter balls and place in slow cooker.

In a medium bowl, mix together Paleo Hoisin sauce with the rest of the sauce ingredients. Whisk together well.
Pour sauce over meatballs.

Cook on low setting for six to eight hours, making sure the inside of the meatball is no longer pink.
