Apple & Pear Cobbler (scd)

It just makes sense to shop seasonally. With the way we have ability to any food at any time of the year sometimes it may seem hard to distinguish what produce is in season. Usually an easy way to tell is the produce that is on sale (like a good sale) is what is in season. Hence, here is another fall apple and pear recipe. It's delicious.

2 apples
2 pears
2 Tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
3/4 cup honey
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup almond flour
scant 1/4 cup shredded unsweetened dried coconut
1 egg

Peel the apples and pears and slice lengthwise about 1/2 cm in thickness, or according to your likeness. Mix all the other ingredients in a separate bowl. Put the sliced pears and apples in a pie pan. Pour the flour/honey/spice mix over top of the sliced fruit. Sprinkle on top with more cinnamon (optional) Bake at 350 for 30 mins. Enjoy warm!
