Finding sauce substitutes on Paleo or SCD is sometimes very difficult. Here's a simple sauce found in many Asian cuisine recipes.
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp water
1/2 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp
almond or
peanut butter
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 minced garlic clove
2 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp hot sauce
sprinkle of ground pepper
Directions:
In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients. Make sure nut butter is fully broken down and completely blended. For Paleo use almond butter, for SCD it is safe to use peanut butter.
